 Starting A Home Based Online Business Is A Good Thing

First of all, let me  say that starting you own home based online business can be a very good thing. I did and I'm so happy I did. But you need to know that there are pitfalls to be avoided to save yourself both time and money.

I have spent literally a small fortune trying to learn how to get my own online business up and running. I've found myseslf crying at my desk, ready to give up in frustration. I don't want you to have to go through all that.

There is a heck of a lot to learn about this type of business and you've probably already been bombarded with offers from  a zillion different "experts" who are more than willing to take your money and give you a few lessons. I jumped in with both feet.

Once I received the materials I almost gagged! I read everything but when it came to implementation I was stuck. Where do I go from here?

I bought a variety of software ( again heaps of dollars) but then didn't know what to do with it.

I bought domain names...now what?

I really, really struggled. So, then I'd buy another experts' stuff, hoping that this would be the answer and I got a lot of valuable information from these different courses and stuff but I was still struggling.

Then, all the emails started coming in. More and more offers. All looked good and they all said they had the "secret" to my success for my home online business. I almost felt like I had to get it or I would miss out, or I'd never have success.

I didn't know who to follow, who's advice to take and who to best help me start my home based online business. I was so confused.

Hype or Help?

Obviously, I was blinded by all the hype and looking for help! There would be one person telling me they made a fortune in a week and another a few thousand overnight! 

You gotta admit all the hype can get the adrenalin flowing and the thoughts of big money fast can make you drool. Don't believe it for a minute!   The only ones  who'll get rich are those guys sucking you in.

What Should You Do? 

First, understand that starting your own home based online business is a great idea, for any number of reasons which I can go into another day.

Secondly, learn from people who have gone before you. Learn from their mistakes so you don't have to do it.

Understand that a lot of VERY VALUABLE information is available from successful experts for FREE! There is often enough to get you started and even make a bit of money, all for free.

Understand that you will need to spend money to further your education and training.

Don't get distracted and try  different paths at the same time. You won't be able to master anything, and you'll be very tempted to throw in the towel and quit.

Learn from my experiences and avoid many of the pitfalls that I managed to get into.

Find a mentor who you believe to be honest and responsible. 

Remember that I, nor anyone else can make you rich or successful. You are responsible for your own success or failure.

What I can do for you is provide guidance and suggest to you the tools that I have found to be the most beneficial for me.

Starting and building your own home based online business can be simple when you know how but it is NOT EASY. It does take time, effort and yes, money to succeed.

You can be a success without having to spend a fortune like I have. Start with resources that are free, like the Renegade University. 

Communicate with your Guide. In this case, it could be me or you might choose another. It's up to you.

Don't expect to make a fortune overnight. You are building an asset that will serve you years to come if you do it right.

Building an online home business is far LESS expensive than traditional businesses but there is no magic. No one is going to build your business for you. 

Stay focused and keep your eye on what you want.
