Cleaning Up Non-Attraction Stuff
Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at 03:40PM I decided it was time to clean up my office and get rid of everything that doesn't apply to my attraction marketing strategies. I was blown away by how mch 'stuff' I had accumulated over the last year or two while trying to learn how to build a business on the internet.
Turn-key Programs Go in the Bin
I admit that when I first looked into an internet business I was hoping and kind of expecting that I would find a 'plug-n-play' program. Pay some money up front and the leads would find me and money would follow. Consequently, I paid a lot of money which simply went down the drain.
I bought into the hype that turn-key systems were brilliant and the way to go, but as you can imagine, that was all it was-hype.
As many of you who read this are aware, you need traffic, qualified traffic before you can expect any sales. So, buying into the best automated program will only get you so far. You still have to get the traffic and may even consider buying leads. I sure did. Spent a small fortune to get over 20,000 'qulified, targeted' leads..none of which bought or signed up for anything, using this 'fantastic and amazing turn-key automated program'.
Bought HUGE Internet Marketing Training Programs
You could say I was desperate to learn this business and just about left no rock unturned. I have notebooks and files (well, used to til now), full of programs that told me what I had to do to create a successful online business. It took me months to go through everything and you know what? They never taught me 'How to ' do anything. In the bin they go!
One good thing is I'll have lots of clips and files to put away and lots more room in the desk!
Learning Attraction Marketing or Internet Marketing is a Process
One might think that investing in all of this probably wasn't the best move on my part. However, in retrospect, I feel that it was all part of the process which led me to where I am now. I've learned so much and continue to learn every day. The more I learn, the more I realize I don't know, and so the process continues.
Get Rid of All Your Unnecessary 'Stuff'
This has been a great exercise and I highly recommend it. I know the path I'm on and I know the resources I need and to take advantage of to succeed. Although it's been an expensive lesson, I know am at a place where the information is all together, and the 'How-to'is right there too.
Streamline your office. Get rid of all the unneccessaries and your focus will be much sharper.
Not only that but you'll have at your fingertips everything you need to make it.
This is what "cleaning up my non-attraction stuff' has done for me. Give it a go.
