A blog, quite simply is like a mini website. The term "blog" is short for "weblog".

In the past most people created a personal blog so family and friends could keep up with the family and their activities, often putting family photos etc on them.

One of the great benefits of a blog is that they are so easy to create. It's simple to add content and click "enter" and voila, you have content on the web.

On your blog, you will have links to other content sites you have, and one can be your website, affiliate links, or any other "money page" you have. The more traffic you get, the more chances you have of a sale or getting some interested prospects.
