Attraction Marketing: 3 Steps to Getting Prospects to "Flock" to YOU!
Step 1: Know Your Target Market
As in any business it's really important to know who you want to attract. In other words: Know who your target market is.
If you were selling "sprockets" then your target market would be people who need sprockets, right? Just for the record, I just made "sprockets" up.. I have no idea if any such thing exists or not, but that's beside the point.
Who are these people? What do they do? How can you communicate with them? How can you get these potential customers to see that you have great "sprockets"
In my video above, I use Sulphur Crested Cockatoos as my target market.
If you were selling "sprockets" then you want to find out exactly what people who use sprockets want to know about these sprockets. What kind do they want, how will they use them and why should they want yours.
In Attraction Marketing I want to attract other network marketers. That's the target market I'm aiming for. What's yours? What group of people are you trying to attract to you, your products or your opportunity?
If you don't know who or what your target market is, how do you know what to give them?
Remember: You are a "solutions provider". You provide a particular solution for a specific problem. Your solution isn't for everyone but for those with a specific problem, you might have the solution they're looking for.
That brings us to the next step in Attraction Marketing
Step 2: What does your target market want?
In the example of the cockatoos, they wanted FOOD! Not just any food. If I put ground beef in the bird feeder, they wouldn't be coming. But..if I put what they want in the dish, as in wild birdseed and sunflower seeds...Now I'm talking their language!
If your target market is network marketers, then discover what it is they are looking for. If they are already in a network marketing business and are happy with it, then trying to convince them to join yours isn't providing a solution for them, but for you.
Perhaps they are very happy with their current company but they want to know how to build thier business on the internet. That is the problem they want a solution for.
Or, perhaps they have an idea how to use the internet but they don't know how to generate traffic. This is also a problem they are looking for a solution for.
Maybe they want some guidance and support. Another problem you can provide a solution for.
What if your target market is people who want to buy your products?
What problems do they have that your products can be a solution for? Get the idea?
Attraction Marketing Step 3: Give them what they want! Simple, I know.
The cockatoos want birdseed and I give it to them. Results: they "flock" to me every day. They even line up on the railing waiting for me to come up with the goods.
Prospects will do the same with you when you:
1. Identify your target market.
2. Discover what they want.
3. Give it to them! Provide the Solution!
